Wired Monk〔 http://www.wiredmonk.com/index2.asp accessdate = 2008-02-26〕 is a Canadian coffee bistro franchise based in Langley, British Columbia with the first Wired Monk opened on October, 1998. Currently the company has franchise locations in Metro Vancouver, one location in Halifax, Nova Scotia and one in Collingwood, Ontario. Our Story Originating from a vision, founder & CEO Brad Peters, began the ‘Wired Monk’ coffee experience in 1998. With anticipation of expansion through franchising, Brad and his wife developed and operated the first location in Langley, BC for over 4 years. A young and enthusiastic entrepreneur, Brad rapidly grew the ‘Wired Monk’ to become a household name within the Langley area. In 2002, the original location, as well as a second location in Langley, sold to individual owners and the company began its franchising venture. The Experience Take a Pacific West concept and mould it together with European flare, add a comfortable fireplace lounge area and a room of warm & inviting colors. Dress it up with original hand-painted art and combine that with exceptional products, old world roasted coffee and friendly service.
